Some evenings at Karma just work.
Friday, May 8 was one of them.
Tiaybe Urban Soul Fusion returned to the Executive Lounge for Take Two — and by the time doors opened at 7:30, every one of the 40 seats was spoken for. The waiting list told us everything we needed to know: this crowd found something worth coming back for.
The format was simple. The execution was not.
Live Urban Soul Fusion in an intimate room. Hand-picked cigars. The right pours. A crowd that came dressed sharp and ready to actually listen.
Tiaybe has a way of filling a room without overwhelming it. The music sat somewhere between neo soul and something harder to name — the kind of sound that makes conversation stop not because it’s loud, but because it’s worth stopping for. In a 40-seat Executive Lounge, that lands differently than it would anywhere else.
The cigar smoke moved slow. The drinks were poured right. The room felt like it was in on something.
What the Executive Lounge was built for.
Karma’s Executive Lounge isn’t a stage and a crowd. It’s a room designed for exactly this — events where the atmosphere is the point, where the size is the feature, not the limitation.
Forty guests. Climate control. Premium ventilation. A bar within reach and a humidor worth exploring before the first note drops.
When the room is full, it feels full in the right way — the way a dinner party feels full, not the way a venue feels full. That distinction matters. It’s why the waiting list exists.
If you were there, you know.
The last note landed just after 10. Nobody rushed toward the door.
That’s the measure of a good evening at Karma — not how loud it was, but how reluctant people were to let it end. A few guests stayed well past close, cigars still lit, conversations still running.
That’s not unusual here. It’s the point.
The next chapter.
This was Take Two. There will be a Take Three.
If you made the waiting list Friday — you’re first in line. If you didn’t know this was happening, now you do.
Karma’s event calendar fills the way the room fills — quietly, then all at once. The next music night will be announced here and on our socials before it opens to the public.
Subscribe to the list. Or just show up next time before the seats are gone.
