Age Verification

Karma Cigar does not sell tobacco products to anyone under the age of 21. This is in compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws. How we Securely Verify Your Age

We verify your age with BlueCheck., an industry respected verification company that uses trusted public data records and sources to return an age validation.  This service is designed to verify and protect your identity to maintain the highest level of consumer privacy. BlueCheck utilizes multi-layer data encryption to ensure data is securely transmitted and stored, to protect against malicious actors and to safeguard the verification process.

How do I Submit Identification Documents?

BlueCheck integrates with checkout forms or account registration flows to gather the information needed to verify your customer’s age. This makes it easier and faster for our customers to checkout or create their accounts. 

Customer data is compared against billions of proprietary and commercial database records. This process is instantaneous, low-profile, and capable of verifying most of our customers. If no match is found, customers are prompted to complete another method of verification.  If unable to verify using submitted information customers are presented with alternative ways to verify their age including the last 4 digits of their Social Security Number or uploading a Photo ID. 

Once verified, the customer’s confirmed age is checked against Karma’s age requirements as required by the state of Indiana. Returning customers are automatically recognized as verified on return and will not need to verify again.

Age Verification Privacy

BlueCheck uses state of art security measures to ensure that any data we store is protected and to safeguard the integrity of the verification process.  After completing a Photo ID verification, any photos used to perform the verification are removed from online storage and are housed in a secure physical location for audit purposes. BlueCheck staff is highly trained at handling and authenticating official documents and forms of identification.  Any sensitive customer data used during a verification, such as the last four digits of SSN, is not stored at all in BlueCheck servers. This information is only used solely for verification purposes.

Ship Only in the State of Indiana

Karma Cigar only ships tobacco products to purchasers in Indiana. Shipping delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless otherwise noted. Certain items, such as over-sized merchandise, may require additional shipping charges. Any such charges will be noted during the checkout process prior to submitting your order.

State Sales Taxes
We are required to collect and remit Indiana sales tax for all orders shipped to Indiana addresses.  We currently do not ship outside of the State of Indiana. 

Shipping Preferences

Karma Saver Shipping will be delivered via UPS. Delivery addresses must be able to receive packages from either carrier. CI Free Shipping (when available) utilizes the same services as Karma.

Note: Shipping with adult signature is required, or if required by government regulation may be subject to additional fees.

Delivery times are based off of the shipping order cutoff time and are subject to payment approval. All delivery times, except Saturday, are based on business days (Monday – Friday) and exclude holidays. Special considerations may incur additional delivery times; see our shipping terms for further details.

Please note that for certain items would exclude you from selecting some of the shipping methods above, please refer to shipping requirements for items that have ‘shipping constraints’ for more details.

Shipping Order Cutoff Time
Please consult the ‘Estimated Delivery’ date in the cart for the most accurate information based on the shipping method you select. All in-stock orders received by 3PM CST, will ship same day.

Delivery Methods
Free and Saver Shipping will be delivered via UPS and/or USPS. Delivery addresses must be able to receive packages from either carrier.  Please note that Saturday, Next Day, 2 Day, 3 Day, and Ground will be delivered via UPS.

  • Priority Mail is delivered via USPS.
  • USPS business days do NOT include Sundays or holidays.
  • All shipments Freight on Board (FOB) Merrillville, Indiana. Risk of loss is on the Purchaser during transport and shipment. Title to, and ownership of all goods passes from Seller to the Purchaser upon shipment, and the Purchaser takes all responsibility for the shipment. By arranging for transportation of the goods, Seller is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of Purchaser. By utilizing this service from Seller, Purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of the goods. The Purchaser represents that he/she is of lawful age and has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of the goods and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered.
  • After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, UPS will return your package to JR All return freight charges will be passed on to the consumer.

HAZMAT Items (Such As Butane)
Due to FAA regulations, expedited services are not available. These items will ship via USPS Parcel Post and may incur additional delivery times.

Backordered Items
W make available the ability to ‘Backorder’ a product that is not currently in stock but expected to return to stock. If you are interested in placing a tentative order for one of these products while we await receipt from the manufacturer, we would be pleased to accept a backorder. Please note that we will never charge your credit card while you await fulfillment of a backorder. In the event we are unable to ship the backordered product, we will contact you and you will have the option to cancel the backorder or replace with an alternative item.

Oversized Items

These items will ship via ground/freight services and may incur additional delivery times. Delivery may not be available to PO Boxes, APO/FPO, and US Territories for certain items. Driver will deliver to the shipping address, but is not required to assist in moving the oversized item into the building, or with setup/unpacking.

When Should I Expect My Order

Shipping takes up to 8 business days from date of shipment (not including weekends or holidays).

Online inventory is updated regularly. If an item is not immediately available, it will ship the moment it becomes available via UPS Ground. We cannot be held responsible for UPS errors, or other delays out of our control. (Please note: for urgent and extremely time-sensitive requests, please call or email a representative to ensure availability before submitting your order, as certain items marked ‘available’ can sometimes sell out in the same day.)

Tracking My Order

Once the order has been completed, you will receive an email with your tracking number for your order.
