Karma Cigar Bar sells tobacco products only to adults who are at least 21 years of age, in compliance with federal, state, and local law. This page explains how we verify age.

1. You Must Be 21 or Older

You must be at least 21 years old to purchase tobacco products from Karma Cigar Bar. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 21 or older and legally permitted to purchase and receive tobacco products at your delivery address. We do not knowingly sell tobacco products to anyone under 21.

2. How We Verify Your Age

We use a non-affiliated third-party age-verification service, AgeChecker.net, to confirm your age and identity at checkout.

  • When you check out, AgeChecker.net compares the information you provide — such as your name, date of birth, and address — against trusted public records.
  • For most customers, this happens instantly, with no extra steps.
  • If your information cannot be matched automatically, you may be asked to upload a photo of a valid government-issued ID (such as a driver’s license) to complete verification.
  • If you have verified successfully before, you generally will not need to verify again.

3. If We Cannot Verify Your Age

If your age cannot be verified, your order may be placed on hold or canceled, and tobacco products will not be shipped until verification is complete. We may contact you for additional information.

4. Verification at Delivery

Tobacco shipments also require an adult signature from a person 21 or older at delivery, and a valid government-issued photo ID may be requested by the carrier. Packages will not be released to anyone under 21.

5. Local Pickup

For orders collected by local pickup at our Merrillville location, a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of age (21+) are required at pickup. Orders must be collected by the named purchaser or an approved adult (21+) designee.

6. Your Privacy

Information submitted for age verification is used only to confirm your age and identity. AgeChecker.net does not sell your information, and any ID image you upload is deleted after verification is completed. For more on how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy.
