The Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Sungrown Epicure is a study in thoughtful process — all-Nicaraguan tobacco aged within bourbon barrels before rolling, resulting in a profile that is neither purely traditional nor gimmick, but genuinely layered. The Nicaraguan Habano wrapper presents a warm, amber-brown surface with a natural gloss imparted in part by the barrel-aging process. The opening draws introduce vanilla and toasted oak alongside the earthy, slightly spicy character of the Habano leaf, creating an immediately distinctive smoking experience. Through the mid-section, notes of caramel and dried tobacco leaf develop, underscored by a persistent nuttiness. The finish is medium-to-full in body, warm and sweet on the palate with lingering oak and a hint of cocoa.
