Joya de Nicaragua holds a unique place in cigar history — it is Nicaragua’s original premium cigar factory, founded in 1968 and the only factory ever to have produced cigars exclusively for a sitting U.S. president. The Numero Uno is JdN’s flagship blend, representing the very best of what the factory can produce from its treasured reserves of aged Nicaraguan tobacco.
The Lambassadeur vitola — a slim, long format — focuses the Numero Uno blend’s complexity into a precise, elegant smoking experience. The Jalapa wrapper opens with cedar and subtle spice, while the Estelí and Jalapa core develops rich notes of leather, dark earth, dried fruit, and cocoa through the mid-section, finishing with a long, spicy, satisfying conclusion that showcases Nicaragua’s finest terroir.
