The Atabey Dioses is among the most distinguished cigars to emerge from the Dominican Republic — a bold declaration of what the island’s terroir is capable of when approached with restraint and precision. The Dominican Corojo wrapper presents a rich, reddish-brown surface with minimal veining, its appearance as composed as the smoking experience it introduces. The first draws reveal dried cherry, aged cedar, and a gentle spice that positions this as a medium-to-full-bodied smoke from the outset. Through the mid-section, the complexity deepens with notes of dark leather, toasted nuts, and a faint floral quality that is distinctly Corojo in character.
