That’s SIX cigars in total! The binder/filler cigars are provided to smoke before and during the seminar as Jose will be going in depth about your smoking experience, with lots of unique information you would expect from an industry leader and aficionado.
Macallan Single Malt Scotch Tasting
In addition to the blending workshop, we will be tasting Macallan Single Malt Scotch. Macallan’s unwavering commitment to exceptional wood management defines every aspect of our whiskey creation – and in Double Cask, two worlds unite to create a distinctive Macallan. Created from the perfect balance of hand-picked American and European Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks, our Double Cask range celebrates the coming together of two styles to bring a unique character to the fore, whilst presenting familiar flavors.
To create Double Cask, we bring new oak from America across thousands of miles to Spain, where casks are crafted and sherry seasoned before traveling to the distillery on Speyside to mature. These whiskeys are then harmoniously united with those aged in the very best European sherry seasoned oak casks.
Telling the story of a journey that brings together different worlds, this union reveals an unmatched investment in time and extraordinary commitment to mastery for which The Macallan has been known since 1824. Mastery of this union results in a perfect partnership of Oloroso sherry seasoned American and European oak casks that creates a range with an extraordinary fusion of vanilla and subtle spice.
Cost: $45 ($50 at the door)
